Job summary

Right at Home Hilton Head/Savannah is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) or Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home care in the community. You will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and homemaking tasks, while delivering high-quality, person-centered support.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of health-care experience, state-required training, and a valid driver’s license. CPR is recommended.

Qualifications

• Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care.
• State-approved Nurse Aide or HHA/PCA course completed.
• Competency Evaluation meets state licensing requirements for home health agencies.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with ambulation, eating, light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises and vital signs.
• Assist with ostomy appliances, dressings and devices for daily living.
