Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare in Pittsburg, KS is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and post-meal cleanup for patients and staff. You will follow center procedures, prepare nourishments, desserts, salads and beverages, and support kitchen operations in line with production sheets while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

The dietary aide candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
Prior experience in food service preferred.
Prior experience in long-term care preferred

Responsibilities

Assists cook as directed by the food service director
Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate
