Job summary

Aperion Care in Princeton, IL, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable facility in line with federal, state, and local standards. You will be directed by the Administrator and Environmental Services Director to ensure a well-kept environment for residents.

You will follow schedules, assist nursing staff during routine cleaning, and use proper cleaning methods and chemicals while protecting residents and preserving a respectful atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions regarding cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Willing to work harmoniously with other personnel and residents.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services for resident areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish fixtures, ledges, and bathroom areas.
• Clean floors via sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting as required.
• Dispose waste properly and relinetray with liners.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Follow safety precautions when using equipment and chemicals.
• Do not disclose residents' protected health information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
