Job summary

Goldwater Care in Princeton, IL seeks a Housekeeper to perform daily housekeeping tasks in accordance with standards to keep facility clean, safe, and comfortable.

You will follow schedules, report incidents, coordinate with nursing staff, clean and sanitize fixtures, floors, and waste, and use PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Willing to work harmoniously with others and interact with residents appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate housekeeping with nursing staff during routine cleaning.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures and surfaces.
• Clean floors: sweeping, mopping, waxing, disinfecting.
• Dispose of waste and replace liners.
• Follow safety precautions and PPE use.
• Other duties as assigned.
