Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dining Services Server in Grand Rapids, MI to provide friendly, efficient meal service in the dining room and bistro. You will assist with setup, serve breakfast to residents and staff, keep tables clean, and handle light food prep for events.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and a current Food Handler’s Permit; Servsafe training is a plus. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and compassion for senior residents.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Prior food service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food service, hospitality, and meal delivery to residents and guests.
• Prepare salads, desserts, and light prep for events and meetings.
• Open/close dining rooms and maintain sanitation compliance.
