Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Wait Staff/Server to provide dining service in a long-term care facility. You will serve meals, set up dining areas, and ensure a clean, sanitary environment while communicating effectively with residents and staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety policies, and a positive, customer-focused attitude to enhance resident experiences. This position is on-site and part-time, with benefits available where eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Past dining/food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with residents, staff, and management.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.
• Maintain a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, guests, and staff.
• Communicate with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth meal service.
• Assist with food preparation as needed (plating/assembling).
• Follow safety and food handling regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
