Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Brookfield, CT is seeking a Server to join our dining team. You will foster a clean, welcoming dining environment while delivering friendly, personalized service and delicious meals to residents.

You will take orders, deliver meals, assist residents with selections, and help set up the dining room for each service. This role requires standing, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to health guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly and efficient food service to residents.
• Capability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and health guidelines for food service operations.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals in a timely, presentable manner.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assists residents with meal selections and special needs.
• Prepares the dining room for the next scheduled meal and maintains a clean, welcoming environment.
• Assists in inventorying dining supplies and equipment.
