Benchmark Senior Living’s Academy Point at Mystic in Mystic, CT, is seeking an Assisted Living Dining Room Server to join our dining team. You will take orders, serve meals, and keep the dining room welcoming and organized for residents.

You should be able to follow written and oral instructions, understand dietary procedures and health regulations, and lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods. We offer holidays, tuition reimbursement, and wellness programs as part of our benefits.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Know dietary procedures and Health Department regulations for food service operations.
• Serve food and beverages for residents promptly and efficiently.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Primarily a standing position with extended standing periods.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals in a timely, presentable manner.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Handles requests from residents requiring assistance with meal selection or specific needs.
• Sets up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assists in inventorying supplies.
