Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Greensboro, NC seeks a Server to courteously serve resident and guest meals, assist with menu orders, and handle beverage service. You will also help with dining room upkeep, tray service, and confidentiality of resident information.

Candidates must read and follow instructions, communicate effectively, and be able to stand/walk for extended periods while lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, guests and coworkers.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods up to three hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry heavy objects as needed.
• Must be organized, able to work with a team and follow schedules.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must maintain clean uniform and good personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of service etiquette and basic safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and promptly.
• Provide beverage service and assist with menu orders.
• Assist with tray service and dining room cleanup and reset.
• Report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Follow sit-down service norms and proper serving techniques.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Respect resident confidentiality and interact professionally.
