Job summary

Fundamental in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service for patients and long-term residents, ensuring meals align with planned menus and dietary orders. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; English fluency; reliable transportation; and a food handler’s permit preferred.

Experience in food prep and service in healthcare is strongly valued. Posted salary range is $14.00–$16.00 per hour.

• Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and/or service of meals for patients and long-term residents as directed by the Dietary Manager.
• Serve food according to the planned menu and residents' diet orders.
• Assist the Cook by ensuring food is prepared and portioned correctly, following safety and hygiene standards.
• May wash dishes when needed or instructed.
