Job summary

River's Edge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Food Service Aide to perform a range of food service tasks and help maintain sanitary dining areas. You will support meal delivery, tray assembly, and basic food preparation under supervision, contributing to a clean, orderly kitchen and patient-friendly service.

Qualifications

Read, write and understand directions in English.
Previous Food Service Aide experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Reports on time, in uniform, ready for duty.
Handle food and equipment per sanitation policies.
Follow safety regulations for equipment.
Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas and dining room.
Serve in dining rooms.
Prepare and deliver snacks as directed.
Assist in daily/scheduled cleaning per policies.
Report discrepancies to supervisor.
Ensure residents and families receive high-quality service.
Perform related duties as assigned.
