Job summary

Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon, OK is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with breakfast and lunch service for residents, following the planned menu cycle and maintaining cleanliness.

The role requires weekend and holiday availability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a positive, compassionate approach to resident care; shifts are 10:00am to 7:00pm with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Set-up the Dish Machine for the day and record wash and rinse temperatures.
• Set-up all beverages for breakfast and lunch to the posted menu.
• Set-up nourishment juices and snack foods for the correct number of patients.
• Prepare food for salads, desserts and beverages according to the menu.
• Clean the dining room after breakfast and lunch; wash tables, chairs, condiment bar, restock condiments.
• Wash dishes after breakfast and lunch.
• Sweep and mop floors after each meal.
• Frequent lifting and moving; ability to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Prepare food for special functions as posted.
• Assist with final clean-up of dietary department before leaving for the day.
