Job summary

Trinity Health Senior Communities at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines, NC is seeking Diet Aides for the Health Center, our skilled nursing facility.

Roles include both part-time and full-time positions with rotating shifts. You will assist with meal prep, support the Certified Dietary Manager in meal planning, work with cooks on the line, and deliver meals to residents while ensuring dietary procedures and sanitary standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be punctual, team-oriented and willing to learn.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, set up, and delivery of all meals.
• Learn and be responsible for working with the Certified Dietary Manager in developing meal plans, working with the cooks on the line, as well as delivering the meals to residents.
• Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as with other departments within the community
