Job summary

Oakmont of Simi Valley is urgently hiring a Care Provider to support residents with daily living activities and personal care. This part-time, on-call role offers benefits and growth within a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, maintaining dignity and safety, and communicating changes to supervisors. Candidates should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and pass background/health screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required to prevent spread of diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ADLs as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and safety.
• Report any change in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
