Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in Agoura Hills is seeking a Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities across all shifts. The role offers on-call coverage with a pay range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour and benefits through Oakmont Management Group.

Experience is welcome but not required; training will be provided. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Background check and health screening including TB tests.
• Willingness to follow health and safety protocols (PPE, vaccinations if required).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living per the resident’s care plan.
• Respond promptly to residents’ needs while maintaining their dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Communicate observed changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents and guests, following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
