Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse agents, manage cargo/mail intake and outbound processes, and ensure compliant handling of ULDs and inventories.

The role requires forklift operation, safety adherence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid US driver's license, and be prepared for airport badge processes and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid US driver's license required.
• Successful completion of airport badging, USPS background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse agents and ensure cargo/mail handling per TSA rules.
• Accept and deliver cargo and mail shipments and unload/load to carts.
• Build and breakdown of aircraft ULDs and transport cargo to aircraft.
• Fill ULD forms and perform cargo/ULD inventories.
• Conduct security screening of freight and mail per TSA requirements.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and clean handling equipment/vehicles.
• Adhere to safety practices and follow shift schedules including weekends/holidays.

Job Description:The work of a Warehouse Supervisor includes but is not limited to the supervision of the work of a Warehouse Agent including but not limited to the accepting and delivery of cargo and mail shipments, loading and unloading of mail and cargo to and from carts, build and breakdown of aircraft ULDs, transporting cargo to and from aircraft, fill ULD forms, perform cargo and ULD inventories, security screen freight and mail in accordance to TSA Regulations, perform warehouse housekeeping duties, perform handling equipment and vehicles cleaning.Knowledge, Skill and Abilities• Ability to judge distances• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts• Ability to understand and follow safety instructions.• Must read and speak English.• Must be able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment and ensure deadlines are met.• Ability to concentrate on detail.• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.• Adhere to safety practices and programs.• Ability to challenge unauthorized individuals in secured areas.• Ability to multitask.Education and Experience• High School Diploma or GED required.• Previous Warehouse experience is preferred• Valid US driver’s license.• Successful completion of required airport badging process, USPS background check and pre-employmentdrug screen is required.Schedule of HoursAlliance Ground International operates twenty-four hours a day seven days a week in three operational shifts, AGI requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, adhocs, etc. Applicants must be able to work on weekends, (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
