Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from trucks, ships or rail.
• Use loaders, skid steers and related equipment to move heavy items.
• Maintain accurate records of received and dispatched goods.
• Inspect cargo for damage and ensure safe handling.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Follow company policies and safety regulations.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Secure cargo for transport with ropes, blocks, chains, or covers.
• Record cargo information such as weight, charges, and damages.
• Communicate with supervisors and team to coordinate loading/unloading.
