We are a maritime law firm located in Emeryville, California, looking for a motivated cargo claims specialist to join our team.We offer a friendly, collaborative business environment.

As a cargo claims specialist, you will work with supervising attorneys and learn to manage a caseload of cargo loss and damage claims arising from international and domestic transportation by ship, rail, truck, and air. Your job will be to obtain compensation for our clients, and you will interact with clients and the responsible transportation companies to negotiate and settle cargo claims.

This is a great job for you if you are interested in managing your own caseload and working in a team setting. We are looking for a self-starter with strong writing and oral communication skills, and a desire to take on responsibility, learn new skills, and develop specialized expertise in transportation and cargo law. College degree preferred.
