Job description

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Caretaker to join one of our long-term client's team at one of their properties in Aurora, CO. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a porter or groundskeeping role; residential multi-family experience is highly preferred. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Salary:

$18-$22/hour DOQ. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning apartments, hallways, corridors, and models.
2. Picking up garbage, including dog waste, and emptying garbage cans on the property.
3. Removing leaves from entries and shoveling snow within a reasonable timeframe.
4. Sweeping stairwells and knocking down bird nests.
5. Delivering letters and flyers.
6. Performing miscellaneous duties as needed.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a porter or groundskeeping role; residential multi-family experience is highly preferred.
2. Light maintenance skills such as lock changing, shoveling, salting, trash pickup, replacing lightbulbs, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and assisting with unit turns.
3. Reliable and punctual.
4. Hospitality-minded when working with residents.
5. Valid Driver’s License and active vehicle insurance.
6. Ability to pass a background check prior to employment.
