We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and flexible caretaker to join our team from the autumn term (September 2025) to manage the day-to-day site management of Walkington Primary School.
You will be a proactive individual, comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with good judgment and common sense. Experience in caretaking or site maintenance, including knowledge of Health & Safety, is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
The role involves 32.5 hours per week on a split shift basis: 6.00am to 9.30am and 4.00pm to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required for occasional additional hours, such as securing the site after events. The role is expected to commence around 26 August, with a hand-over period with the current caretaker.
