Job summary

Sefton@Work is seeking a compassionate Carer/PA to support a non-verbal 4-year-old girl with CP at her home. The role involves personal care, tube feeds, and helping with development through play and activities.

Term-time hours are 12 per week with 3.30pm–6.30pm Mon-Thu, plus 16 hours per week during holidays; some weekends may be required. £13 per hour. DBS check may be required and right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with complex/additional needs.
• Experience with tube feeding.
• First aid certification.
• AAC experience with switched PODD books/symbols, eye gaze.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Training can be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to the child.
• Administer tube feeds and medications as required.
• Assist with physiotherapy activities.
• Assist with communication and daily routines.

We are seeking an individual who is full of fun and silliness with a kind and caring nature. You need to be encouraging and

supportive with a can‑do, positive attitude to encourage development through play and activities to

Term Time – 12hrs per week

3.30pm – 6.30pm Monday to Thursday (days/times - flexibility is possible – occasionally weekend hours may be required)

Non Term time (school holidays) – 16hrs per week

Tuesday 8am – 6pm

Thursdays 9am – 3pm

£13 per hour

Desirable Skills And Experience
