Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults in their homes. Shift 1:00-5:00PM offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay, with paid training and development to help you grow in your role.

We value reliability, a caring attitude, and a commitment to quality in-home care. A CNA/HHA/PCA certification is preferred, and mileage reimbursement is provided for client travel between appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Background check required.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring/moving client throughout their home.
• Perform housekeeping activities (vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning).
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Accompany client on errands or medical appointments.
• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, and shaving).
• Assist with medication reminders and prescribed exercises.
• Provide companionship activities (reading, music, and puzzles).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and shaving
• Assisting with medication reminders and prescribed exercises
• Providing companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles

Qualifications and Skills

• Hold a high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
• Be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Have a CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
