Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to join a dynamic in-home care team serving seniors and disabled adults in North Central Indianapolis and surrounding counties. Experience preferred; CNAs and HHAs are a plus.

We offer full-time, part-time, and temporary roles with flexible schedules and weekly pay. Caregivers perform personal care and domestic tasks per an established plan, supporting clients to remain in the comfort of their homes.

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

Caregiver Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment
• Dependability
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile
• Communicate effectively with office staff regularly
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 /hour

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
