Job summary

Senior Living Residences is seeking Resident Care Associates to provide direct personal care to our senior residents at Compass at Forestview in Meredith, NH. You will join a caring team, join or lead activities, and help maintain a safe, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• CNA/CHHA/LNA certification preferred; training offered for caregiving roles.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, bend and transfer residents.
• Strong communication and reliability for daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
• Track care and tasks using an electronic health record system.
• Assist housekeeping with light duties and support across departments.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

6:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Full Time, Part Time weekends only

2:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Full Time with every other weekend, Part Time every other weekend ONLY

10:00 PM - 6:00 AM: Full Time with every other weekend, Part Time with every other weekend

PAY & BENEFITS:

Rates start at $20 - $21 per hour based on work experience

WHAT OUR RESIDENT CARE ASSOCIATES DO:

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
• Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
• Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
• Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
• Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), preferred; Not licensed? We offer training for anyone interested in a caregiving role
• Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
