Job summary

Home Helpers of North Madison is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide companionship and daily living assistance in clients' homes in the Madison area. You will deliver light housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care while following individualized care plans and maintaining open communication with families and the Home Helpers team.

Prior home care experience is required. A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a mobile device are needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to complete all required employment requirements
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Clean driving record
• Prior home care experience is a must
• Access to email and a mobile smart device
• Understand and respect client confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Open availability for scheduling

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping in client homes
• Meal preparation and snacks
• Provide caring companionship
• Assist with personal cares and hygiene (ADLs)
• Carry out a plan of care tailored to each client
• Transport to appointments and activities
• Communicate professionally with families and the care team
• Collaborate with Home Helpers team and family to meet client needs
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities May Include (will vary by client):

• Light housekeeping

• Carrying out a plan of care that best supports your client
• Transportation to and from your client’s appointments and activities
• Communicate professionally with families and your team
• Creating compassionate and supportive solutions to your client’s unique needs by collaborating with your HomeHelpers team and your client’s family
• Other duties as assigned
