Stoughton Meadows, a facility within The Pennant Group, is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, personal care, socialization, and cognitive engagement.

The successful candidate will promote resident independence, dignity, and safety, maintain confidentiality, and work as part of a dedicated team. Prior direct care experience and a HS diploma or GED are preferred, with CPR encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or direct care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and dignity.
• Willingness to participate in staff trainings and in-services.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Support personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and health monitoring.
• Encourage independence and respect resident preferences and choices.
• Maintain professional conduct and timely reporting to appropriate staff.

About the Opportunity

The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

• Exhibits a positive customer service attitude as demonstrated by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
• Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
• Demonstrates consistent work attendance as scheduled and addresses work related problems with the proper individuals.
• Communication skills that include careful listening, being sensitive to other people' thoughts and feelings, giving thoughtful responses, and the timely and accurate reporting to appropriate people.
• Maintains confidentiality of both resident and staff information.
• Must present with a neat, clean appearance.
• Participates in designated facility in-services. Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
