Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in the SW Boston area. You will provide one-on-one care in a home setting, assist with daily activities, and help with transportation to appointments, shopping, and outings.

We offer flexible scheduling, mileage and travel-time reimbursement, and opportunities for paid training and career growth. Competitive pay of $21/hr is available for weekday, weekend day, and weekend overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Has a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Must be willing to drive clients for appointments
• Excellent English communication (read/write/speak)
• Reliable and able to commit to a set schedule
• 1–3 years of hands-on Senior Caregiver/Home Health Aide/CNA experience

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care to seniors in home settings
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Support transportation to appointments, shopping, and outings

• Weekdays, Weekend Days and Weekend Overnight Coverage Needed
• 6-12 hour day shifts, 12hr overnight shifts
• Competitive Pay $21/hr

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Has a valid driver's license AND insured vehicle.
• Must be willing to drive clients for appointments, shopping & outings.
• Is a GREAT communicator who can read, write and speak clearly in English.
• Is RELIABLE and can commit to a set schedule.
• Has 1-3 years of experience as a hands-on Senior Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nurse’s Assistant. We will also consider private care or care for a loved one as experience. (Certifications are a plus but not required).
• Must have availability of 3 days per week (to maintain employment)
• Is able travel up to 15 miles for shifts (approx. 30 min commuting time)
• Can lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
• Has full access to internet, email, and mobile phone w/ability to use a phone app. (WellSky experience a plus)
