Job summary
Guardian Angel Senior Services, Inc. in Amherst, MA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors. Open roles include PCA, HHA, CNA, or Homemaker with flexible scheduling and 8–12 hour shifts, day or overnight, 20+ hours per week.
Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience. New caregivers may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Free training and benefits support your success.
Qualifications
- Experience as PCA, HHA, CNA, or Homemaker preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Reliable and punctual with good time management.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to client needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals based on client preferences.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Observe clients and report changes to supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home for clients.
- Deliver respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.

$18.00 TO $20.00 PER HOUR
Pay Is Based On Experience, Skills, Certifications, And Qualifications.

As an in home caregiver, you will help older adults remain safe, comfortable, independent, and connected in the place they call home.
Your work can provide companionship, encouragement, dignity, and peace of mind to clients and their families.
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Preparing meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
- Helping with light housekeeping and laundry
- Running Essential Errands When Needed
- Providing medication reminders
- Observing clients and reporting changes to the appropriate supervisor
- Helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home
- Providing respectful, dependable, and compassionate care

- Able to provide reliable transportation
- HHA or CNA certification is welcome when applicable
