Job summary

Always Best Care of Rock Hill is seeking caregivers to support clients at home with daily activities, meals, medication reminders, and safe, clean living spaces.

You will help clients age in place with personalized care, flexible 4–12 hour shifts, and training opportunities while earning weekly pay and gaining valuable experience.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for elderly and disabled people.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with day-to-day activities to help them age in place.
• Bathing and dressing to start the day.
• Prepare nutritious meals to maintain energy and health.
• Ensure medications are taken to reduce hospital visits.
• Run errands and perform light housekeeping.
• Support mental and physical exercises to improve health and reduce falls.

PAY RANGE: $15-$17/hr

YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will be working with our clients helping them with day-to-day activities so that they can age in place. You will have a MAJOR impact on their life helping them with things like…
• Bathing and dressing so they can start their day feeling good.
• Preparing nutritious meals for them so their body can heal, and they will have the energy they need to make it through the day.
• Make sure they are taking their medications to reduce visits to the hospital.
• Sometimes run errands for them.
• Helping with light housekeeping so that their environment is clean and safe…
• Assist them with other mental and physical exercises designed to help them improve their health and reduce the risk of fall.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with caring for Elderly and disabled people.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license and auto insurance.
• Must have a clean background record and be able to pass a drug screen.
• Must be dependable and have excellent communication skills.
• Working in a facility setting can be mentally and physically exhausting…On your feet all day running from patient to patient with little time to really connect with your clients and nonstop throughout your shift.
