Job description

Grow with Homes for Independent Living by providing Direct Care for clients in a residential setting. Assist clients with daily tasks, be a positive influence by chaperoning events and activities, and quietly redirect behaviors as needed. Training is provided. Apply today!

This is an hourly position, with pay ranging from $14.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience, location, and shift. Both full-time and part-time hours are available.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all clients.
2. Administer positive behavioral redirection and encourage self-coping mechanisms.
3. Assist with daily living activities according to care plans.
4. Help with food preparation and cleaning as needed.
5. Maintain positive relationships with clients, guardians, and staff.
6. Complete daily logs and report any inconsistencies.
