Job summary

Comforts of Home Senior Living in River Falls, WI is seeking a CNA/Caregiver for our CBRF II location. The role includes helping residents with daily living activities, monitoring health indicators, and documenting care provided. Paid training is offered, with a competitive hourly pay range.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to reach and maintain the highest level of independence while helping with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
• Document services performed and observe changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist with bathing, incontinence management, transfers and medication administration as needed.
• Communicate in a professional, respectful manner with residents, families, and colleagues.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Assist residents to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
• Document services performed.
• Observe and report any changes in physical and emotional condition of residents.
• Assist residents with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, incontinence management, transferring assistance and medication administration.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and kind manner.
• Ability to communicate and assist residents with dementia or related diagnosis.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary. Paid training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
