Job summary

Senior Helpers of Seal Beach seeks compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors across Cypress, Long Beach, Garden Grove, Seal Beach and surrounding CA areas. You will support daily activities, provide companionship, and assist with non-medical needs to help clients age comfortably at home.

We offer paid training, flexible schedules, professional development, and a welcoming work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and car insurance.
• Valid TB test (or willing to get one).
• Must be on the California State Registry (or willing to sign up) - HCA.
• Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, and meal preparation.
• Assist with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene care, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with non-medical care needs, including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery.
• Provide transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands.
• Complete medication reminders

We are currently seeking caregivers, home health aides, personal care assistants, CNA, HCA's, and candidates who are interested in making a difference in our client's lives in Cypress, Long Beach, Garden Grove, Seal Beach, Bellflower, Lakewood, Hawaiian Gardens, Huntington Beach CA and surrounding areas.
