Griswold Home Care for North Dallas, Garland & Rockwall is seeking a Caregiver Workforce & Scheduling Coordinator to be the heart of our home care operations. In this role, you'll coordinate schedules and recruit compassionate caregivers who embody our mission of quality care.

You’ll create and maintain caregiver schedules, manage new client starts, and arrange coverage for call-outs or emergencies while ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, staffing, scheduling, recruiting, or office coordination experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software
  • Experience working in healthcare, home care, or staffing environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain caregiver schedules based on client care needs and caregiver availability
  • Coordinate new client starts, schedule changes, and coverage for call-outs or emergencies
  • Ensure continuity of care and consistent client and caregiver satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers regarding scheduling updates
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to optimize service delivery and staffing efficiency
  • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified caregivers including Nurse Aides (NA) and Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Homemakers/Companions
  • Post and manage job advertisements on Indeed and other recruiting platforms
  • Screen applicants for qualifications, experience, professionalism, and compassion
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and credential verification
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of quality caregivers to support agency growth
  • Maintain accurate employee and client records
  • Support compliance with agency policies and Hawaii state requirements
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general office communications
  • Collaborate with management to improve operational processes and caregiver retention

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems
