Job summary

Safe Harbor Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Attendant / Caregiver in Orange County, CA. The role provides non-medical, in-home care to clients in their homes and communities, supporting daily living activities and independence.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, meal prep, mobility, toileting, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation, while delivering companionship and respectful care.

Qualifications

• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration
• Current TB Test/Clearance
• Current Work Physical
• Must complete all required orientation and onboarding training within 2 weeks of hire
• Eligible to earn up to $19–$23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Personal hygiene and oral care
• Feeding and meal preparation
• Mobility assistance, transferring, and ambulation
• Positioning and exercise assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Medication reminders for self-administered medications
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation to appointments and community activities
• Companionship and emotional support
• Assistance with phone calls and correspondence
• Caregivers are expected to provide services in a respectful, compassionate manner while following company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
