Job summary

Senior Helpers of NW Indiana is seeking a dedicated caregiver for Saturdays, 9:30am–8:30pm, in Chesterton, Indiana. This part-time role focuses on companionship, daily living assistance, and following each client’s care plan.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of adult caregiving experience, HOYER LIFT experience, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation. The position offers flexible scheduling, training opportunities, and bi-weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more adult caregiving experience. MUST HAVE HOYER LIFT EXPERIENCE
• Must have a clean driving record, valid driver's license and current car insurance
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship to clients.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Support non-medical care needs and follow client care plans.
• Provide updates to the team as needed
