Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• CPR/First-Aid certification as needed per policy and state rules.
• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engage residents in conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care.
• Respond to resident needs promptly and obtain assistance as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Monitor changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition and report to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
