Job summary

Home Care Assistance of Dallas is seeking caring, reliable caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care. You will support aging clients with daily living tasks, mobility, and emotional well-being, delivering compassionate service with dignity.

Ideal candidates have HHA/PCA/CNA credentials or strong caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Flexible shifts and training opportunities are available in Dallas.

Qualifications

• HHA, PCA or CNA certifications preferred.
• Empathy, compassion and kindness are essential.
• Ability to use sound judgement and stay calm in various situations.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, grooming and daily living assistance.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Medication reminders and routine transportation support.
• Assist with shopping, errands and light housekeeping.
• Escort to appointments and ensure safety throughout visits.

Education:

Highschool or GED preferred

Required Skills, Education and Certifications:

• HHA, PCA, CNA, certification preferred
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus
• Empathy, compassion, and kindness a MUST
• Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations
• Must be reliable, dependable and on time
• Basic computer skills as well as overall technical savviness
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S
• Can pass a background check and provide references ,can pass drug screening

COVID-19 Protocols and Essential Worker Support:

• 24/7 Covid Rapid Response Team

Licensure

Must have a valid driver’s license to travel to a specific place of assignment.

Experience

At least 18 years old must provide proof of education and /or experience to be able to accomplish the assigned tasks.
