Job summary

Homecare By Design in Lafayette, IN is seeking compassionate Personal Caregivers to join our team. You will provide non-medical care with a focus on companionship, in a 1:1 resident-to-caregiver setting, and support daily living activities with flexibility in scheduling.

The role emphasizes meaningful relationships with clients, light housekeeping, meal prep, and reminders for personal care. A valid driver’s license is preferred and the ability to pass a background check is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care, including light housekeeping, meal prep, and assistance with grooming
• Offer stand-by assistance with daily living activities
• Provide medication reminders and personal care assistance
• Build lasting relationships with clients through companionship
