Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health activities.
• Encourage resident independence and support resident choices while preserving dignity.
• Exhibit a positive customer service attitude: approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
• Show personal initiative to complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Maintain consistent attendance as scheduled and address work-related problems with the appropriate individuals.
• Communicate effectively: listen carefully, show sensitivity to others’ thoughts and feelings, provide thoughtful responses, and report timely and accurately to appropriate parties.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Present a neat, clean appearance and participate in designated facility in‑services.
