Seniors Helping Seniors Hampton Roads is seeking dependable caregivers to provide exceptional elder care in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake and nearby areas. Starting at $18–$20 per hour with 24/7 support and both full-time and part-time positions available.

We offer training, ongoing education, and a supportive team environment. Candidates should be mature, compassionate, and thorough with a valid driver's license where applicable.

Our Mission

When our founder's parents developed dementia, she decided to drop everything and take care of them full-time. She doesn't want other families to feel under the same burden. We understand that caring for those most in need in our community lifts a huge burden.

Job Responsibilities

• Companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care for a cat
• Medication reminders, Grooming, Dressing, and Incontinence and toileting support
• Assisting with activities of daily living and specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia care
• Must be able to work daytime and evening hours, weekend availibility.

Requirements

• Treat clients with dignity and respect
• Weekend availability (If applicable)
• Effective communication skills
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance (If applicable)
• Compliance with State of Virgnina regulations, DMV check, and drug screening.
