Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors in Virginia Beach is seeking compassionate caregivers for part-time and full-time roles. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

You will support activities of daily living and specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia care in clients’ homes, with opportunities for training and advancement. Requirements include a valid driver’s license and compliance with Virginia regulations.

Qualifications

• Companionship, light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders and daily living activities support.
• Specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia care experience preferred.
• Must be able to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Weekend availability may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance where applicable.
• Compliance with Virginia regulations, DMV checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support with daily tasks.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Offer medication reminders and monitor wellbeing.
• Support activities of daily living and dementia care.
• Travel to clients and maintain professional boundaries.
