Job summary

Christian Care Fellowship Square of Mesa is seeking a Caregiver Supervisor to oversee Certified Caregivers in our Assisted Living facility. This is a working supervisor role, performing caregiver duties alongside supervisory duties.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in assisted living with 1 year in supervision, an Arizona Caregiver certification, CPR and First Aid training, and successful background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an assisted living setting with minimum of 1-year supervisory experience.
• Arizona Caregiver certification required.
• Must have current Adult CPR and Basic First Aid Training.
• Background check, DPS Fingerprint Card, Current TB test, Food Handlers Card, and pass drug screening.
• Ability to assist residents with limited mobility and lift/pull up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Certified Caregivers in the assisted living facility.
• Monitor and administer prescribed medications to patients.
• Maintain medical records.
• Perform welfare checks on patients.
• Provide physical assistance, laundry, bedding, and light housekeeping.
• Partner with other associates to ensure safety and well-being.
• Working supervisor duties; perform caregiver tasks as needed.

The purpose of this position is to provide supervision of Certified Caregivers who provide a broad range of services to the residents in our Assisted Living facility. This position is considered a "working" supervisor as the supervisor is required to perform regular caregiver duties in addition to supervisory responsibilities.

• Orders and completes medication records.
• Provide physical assistance, laundry, bedding, and light housekeeping.
• Partner with other associates to ensure safety and well-being.

• Arizona Caregiver certification required from an approved agency or company will pay for Caregiving certification.
