Job summary

Clarendale of Chandler in Chandler, AZ is seeking a part-time Arizona Certified Caregiver. The role supports residents with high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance, with attention to safety and dignity.

Qualifications include state certification, GED or high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, and clear fingerprint background. Flexible schedule, weekend/holiday rotation, and benefits are offered to right candidate.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in senior living care settings with caregiver experience preferred.
• Current Arizona state caregiver certification.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Food Handler's Card required.

Responsibilities

• Assist all residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care, etc.).
• Assist residents at mealtimes; cut food and encourage eating.
• Complete and document shift assignments; report if unable to complete to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families, department heads, and Director of Resident Services as needed.
• Provide planned activities and respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.

Who you are:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Current certification by the state of Arizona for Caregiving
• 1-2 years in senior living care settings with prior Caregiver experience preferred
• Able to obtain or have current CPR/First Aide certification
• Able to obtain or have Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Able to obtain or have Food Handler's Card

Job Summary:

• Assist residents at mealtimes. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
