Job summary

MyPath is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to lead the direct care team in a residential setting. You will supervise caregivers, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality client care with a focus on safety and wellbeing.

The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, managing behavioral challenges, and supporting in-home tasks such as cooking and cleaning. Full-time or part-time schedules are available, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Reliable transportation to and from programs and training classes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Successful caregiver background check, TB test and health screen.
• Valid driver’s license with 3 years of acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff, provide training, coaching and mentoring; ensure client care and safety.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal cares.
• Redirect challenging behaviors to promote independence and quality of life.
• Assist with cooking and cleaning in the home.
• All other duties as assigned.

Overview

Grow with Homes for Independent Living as a Caregiver assisting adult clients with behavioral, medical and/or physical disabilities in a residential home setting. Ensure clients safety, assist clients with daily tasks, be a positive influence chaperoning fun events plus redirect behaviors as needed. HIL is looking for aDirect Support Supervisor (DSS)to join our team. A DSS provides supervision for the direct care support team members.

As aDirect Support Supervisor , you will :

• Supervise caregiver staff along with training, coaching and mentoring your team. Provide supervision of personnel and client care, enhance the overall health, safety, and welfare of the clients and programming.
• Assist client with activities of daily living including physical assistance and personal cares.
• Redirect challenging behaviors - Promote independence and quality of life.
• Assist with the cooking, cleaning in the home.
• All other duties as assigned.

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, plus shift differential, extra $1.00 hr. on 2nd shiftANDExtra $2.00 hr. on weekends. Pay based on experience, location and shift. Full-time and part-time hours available.
