Job summary

MyPath is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to lead caregiver staff in residential settings, supervising client care, safety and quality of life. You’ll coach teams, model best practices, and ensure daily living activities are performed with dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include training, mentoring, supervising personnel, managing behavior challenges, and coordinating meals and home tasks. The role supports individuals with disabilities across our Wisconsin locations, offering

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation to and from programs and training classes
• Communication & Problem-Solving skills
• Successful completion of a caregiver background check, TB test and Health Screen
• Valid Driver’s License with 3 years of acceptable driving record, required

Overview Grow with Homes for Independent Living as a Caregiver assisting adult clients with behavioral, medical and/or physical disabilities in a residential home setting. Ensure clients safety, assist clients with daily tasks, be a positive influence chaperoning fun events plus redirect behaviors as needed.

As a Direct Support Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise caregiver staff along with training, coaching and mentoring your team.
• Provide supervision of personnel and client care, enhance the overall health, safety, and welfare of the clients and programming.
• Assist client with activities of daily living including physical assistance and personal cares.
• Redirect challenging behaviors - Promote independence and quality of life.
• Assist with the cooking, cleaning in the home.
• All other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, plus shift differential, extra $1.00 hr. on 2nd shift AND Extra $2.00 hr. on weekends.
• Pay based on experience, location and shift.
• Full-time and part-time hours available.
• Set schedules with guaranteed hours, ability to pick up overtime
