Job summary

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional in Ohio to assist individuals in residential settings with daily living activities and health maintenance. This hourly, non-exempt role supports 4–6 individuals per program, with potential for full-time or part-time hours and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support per individual service/program plans, including socialization, health maintenance, and skill/behavioral development.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, housekeeping, transportation, community integration, shopping, and other activities of daily living.
• Accurately document progress and activity; review records to stay updated on changes in service plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with individuals, families, guardians and case managers.
• Report incidents and ensure safety and rights of individuals served.
