Sevita, including ResCare Community Living, seeks compassionate direct-support professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings. You’ll help with daily living activities, health maintenance, and community involvement, while documenting progress and ensuring safety.

You need at least a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of human-services experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of computers and basic documentation.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct support per service plans, including socialization, health maintenance, and activities of daily living.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, housekeeping, transportation, and community integration.
• Document progress, maintain confidentiality, and follow safety and record-keeping policies.
• Support with medications if assigned and accompany individuals to appointments when needed.
