Job summary

Heritage Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our team and provide one-on-one care in clients' homes across the Santa Fe area. This PRN role offers flexibility across all days, with scheduling based on client needs and your availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Maintain current automobile insurance
• Pass a criminal background check
• Fingerprint-based screening
• Pre-employment drug screening
• TB screening
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ambulation
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping for a safe home
• Assist with medications as delegated
• Escort or transport to appointments and errands
• Observe and report changes to nursing team
• Follow care plans honoring client dignity and independence

As a PRN Caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one care to clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, safety, and quality of life. We are currently hiring caregivers for all days of the week, with flexible scheduling based on client needs and your availability.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Assist with medications as delegated
• Escort or transport clients to appointments and errands when needed
• Observe and report changes in clients' health or condition to the nursing team
• Follow individualized care plans while promoting each client's dignity, comfort, and independence

• Willing to travel between client homes

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Paid training is provided for qualified candidates.

Minimum Requirements
