Job summary

BrightStar Care of New Mexico is looking for compassionate Caregivers in Santa Fe, NM to provide essential personal care support to individuals in need, including seniors and those with disabilities. This role involves assistance with daily living, companionship, and light housekeeping. Candidates must be dependable and have a patient-centered mindset. Flexible part-time and full-time schedules are offered, with responsibilities including personal care assistance and adherence to individualized care plans. Ideally, candidates will have 1 year of experience in caregiving.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or home/community care and nursing home preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (not required).
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Support activities of daily living (meal prep, medication reminders, mobility assistance).
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities.

Caregiver - Santa Fe, NM

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients, including seniors, individuals with dementia, and those requiring hospice care. Your commitment will help foster a nurturing environment that promotes independence and dignity. Serious candidates only. Availability for day, night, or overnight shifts is a plus

Provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability, and/or other inflictions. Personal Care may include assistance with the activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, and respite. Responsible for ensuring service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.

Applicants must currently live in Santa Fe or be able to reliably commute to this location.
