Job summary

CareDiem Home Care of Downers Grove is seeking skilled caregivers to assist clients in living safely and independently at home. Caregivers will be responsible for providing personal care, mobility support, and companionship, as well as managing meals and medications.

Qualifications

• 1+ year caregiving experience (agency or private).
• CNA/HHA preferred but not required.
• Valid ID, SSN, or work authorization required.
• Must pass TB test, background check, and drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid certification needed (or willing to obtain).
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Comfortable using smartphone apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Provide mobility assistance and fall prevention.
• Prepare meals and handle light housekeeping tasks.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Offer companionship and safety supervision.
• Utilize care app for clocking in/out and documenting care.
